If you desire a connection with God and His people, our ministries are here for you.
Regular Services
We meet ordinarily four times a week--Sundays at 10:00am and 7:00pm, and Wednesdays at 10:00am & 7:00pm--for praise & worship, prayer, to testify of God's faithfulness in our lives, and to receive anointed Bible teaching and prophetic instruction.
We praise the Lord with singing and musical instruments, usually for about 20 minutes at the beginning of every service; our music selection represents a blend of traditional hymns with more contemporary Christian songs.
We are free to worship God with upraised hands and spriritual gifts (tongues & interpretation, words of knowledge & wisdom, and discernment of spirits). We beleive services are to be conducted "decently and in order." (I Corinthians 14:40)
Preaching and instruction are scripturally grounded, inspired by the Holy Spirit, in-depth and spiritually relevant. A room for nursery is provided--though not regularly staffed--with an audio speaker feeding sound from the service in the sanctuary.
Deliverance and Healing
In Mark 16:17-18, Jesus said those who believe in Him have authority in His Name to cast out demons and to minister healing. These attesting signs, long neglected in the body of Christ, are very much in evidence among the believers at Romans 8 Church. We believe in the power of prayer to enable a person to overcome any problem the devil throws in their path--illnesses and destructive habits, behaviors, emotions and thought patterns--through the authority of the Name of Jesus and the Word of God.
The ministries of deliverance and healing are normally conducted on-site at the close of any regular service. Most members of Romans 8 Church are trained and competent to minister under the leadership of the Holy Spirit. A prior appointment is not necessary, and any personal details shared pursuant to deliverance and healing ministries are kept strictly confidential.
Men's Prayer Breakfast
At 7:30am on the last Saturday of every month, we hold a special gathering for men to sit down and eat breakfast together in the fellowship hall and to discuss concerns of the day.
This provides an opportunity to get acquainted with men who may not be regular attendees of our services and gives us a chance to pray for one another's needs. In this world of stress and conflict, we believe it's important for men to pray together and share their views man-to-man in a non-threatening atmosphere. "Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity." (Psalm 133:1)
Family Fellowship Dinner
Like first century Christians, we enjoy sharing food and camaraderie. Our monthly fellowship dinners--on the 3rd Friday of every month at 6:30pm--are times of celebration, harmony and encouragement, plus they provide opportunities to invite friends, family, neighbors and guests who are not attendees of the regular services. As everyone brings their specially-prepared favorite dishes, no one goes away hungry.
